Olivia (b.1999) has sensory art workshop sessions which take place in her home.

Olivia is deaf, autistic and non-verbal. Communication can be difficult for Olivia. British Sign Language is her mode of communication.

Olivia will take part in using a variety of tools and application processes to make easy doable paintings and collages.  She also likes to take part in applying paint using non-traditional tools such as bag painting, dripping paint and balloon painting.

Olivia’s process is one that is intuitive, whereby a creative conversation takes place silently between her and Sandra. She will take turns to apply the many different techniques, working on at least eight different artworks in her two-hour session.

Each individual painting involves start to finish contribution from Sandra.  Proudly one of her paintings was sold to another buyer, this time from Germany.
